Scars To Your Beautiful

You've fought your way through the life

I can see that from the scars that you are trying to hide

Don't hide them, my love

For you, they are the memories of your past

Of your struggle and all that you've endured

To reach where you are now

But for me,  they tell me the story

Of your bravery, your courage

Not forcing you to be proud of them

Cause' I know that's not how you feel

I want to be there for you

If that's what you need

The world is a scary and messy place

You are here, alive and breathing

And maybe someday, you'll look at your scars

And feel content knowing that

What you have gone through, made you strong

And more determined to live

And maybe, you won't hurt anymore

So don't hide your scars

Let them tell the story

That you've been so afraid to tell

They make you who you are

Graduation

A big day in every student's life
many people get to experience it
and many don't.
Closing one chapter
and opening another one.
A new chapter,
that can change your life.
You probably don't remember
what you felt when you first entered
nursery from kindergarten.
But you remembered the time
you graduated 12th class,
it doesn't matter if you changed schools
or studied in the same one from 1st grade,
you had all those memories
of your friends, teachers
and everything else that happened.
You probably cried,
not a lot but maybe a little bit.
You had a blast at your farewell
because I had at mine.
taking pictures with your teachers, friends
making promises to always be in touch,
making all sorts of memories.
Then you enter a new phase in your life.
College life.
For the next 3 or 4 years, you know
you have to come to this very college every day.
Making new friends,
having new conversations,
and also making new memories.
And just like that,
your college life also comes to an end.
College farewell and graduation
mark the end of your college life.
You graduate from college
with a degree in your hand
you are ready to start a new chapter of your life.
Yet again, you will always remember
your graduation day and all those memories that
you made.  
  

Twinkle In Your Eyes

I can't seem to forget

about the twinkle

that i saw in your eyes.

It was refreshing

and made me wonder

what caused it.

What does it mean?

Happiness? Amusement?

Mischievousness? Who knows?

I try to figure it out

but it is a puzzle

only you can solve.

Those twinkle in your eyes

shine brightly

like a burning sun.

Never have I seen such beauty before

and whenever i close my eyes

all I see is the twinkle in your eyes.
